Michelle and I are the parents of four great kids, two of whom are married to our wonderful daughters-in-law, and we have one super-cute grandson. I pastor a great church in Lancaster, PA, and teach Bible and theology courses as an adjunct professor. Michelle is Director of Employee Care for an amazing business which provides meaningful employment in support of refugees as they work to overcome language and cultural barriers. All of these things color our lives with vibrant strokes. If you catch me in a free moment, I’ll probably be reading a book, running with my dog, hanging out with our family and friends around a campfire or enjoying a movie or TV show with Michelle! Often you’ll find Michelle and I talking about God’s heart for the oppressed and how we Americans can live the Gospel.

Hello! I found your website as I was searching for child-accessible illustrations of the liturgical church calendar. The image used from an article posted three years ago is just what I was looking for, but the illustrators name is not credited.
Could you please tell me the original source of the liturgical calendar illustration used in this article? ( “Why I observe the Christian Calendar: God’s Heart for the Holidays”)
Thank you!
I just did some searching, and I believe this is the source: https://resources.wesleyan.org/the-christian-year
I am read 1st Peter I-2 and googled what it really meant and found your teaching, I would love to get the rest of your break down of 1st Peter.
Thank you
Thanks! I blogged through the entire letter of 1st Peter, starting with an intro post here: https://joelkime.com/2018/05/11/can-you-smell-what-the-_____-is-cooking-when-jesus-give-you-a-nickname-and-changes-your-life/
The rests of the posts in that series follow after that one. I hope this helps!
